Inside Cosplay Carnival: The Emerald City 2026

Cosplay PH has hosted yet another event that is well-recognized for quite a while now and it's .............. Cosplay Carnival 2026 that was held during March 28-29, 2026 at the SMX Convention Center Halls 1 & 2 at Pasay City! 2 whole days filled with so many cosplayers, congoers, and everyone in between to enjoy, purchase, & meet up with their fellow friends, moots, or even cosplay groups aka CGs while being themselves for the entire duration of said event. Though the event center my be rather smaller than the ones we usually get to experience, it doesn't sacrifice the quality of what they have in store. Well-known cosplayers featured in the All-Star Avenue booths from our local stars Jane Yu and Eri Strawberry to our international ones like Jeanwoo & Kael PK, a variety of merchant booths and exhibits for your anik-aniks and such as well as the commodities inside the halls so that everyone doesn't have to travel far just so they can replenish their energy. Besides that we also have many activities within the stage such as cosplay auctions, kareokes, duets, cosplay OTP, & many more. 

Thank for Mountain Dew Philippines for being a huge part of this. We all had a wonderful time staying, playing, & creating great content while we were there. For only ₱18 per plastic bottle, you're given a stamp card for their 3 activities which include the AR mapping simulator, posing on their wall with the #PlayTheDew & #MountainDewPhilippines.

We even had the time of our lives in having an opportunity to play Valorant via 2v2 match-up where one team plays w/ all the keys intact (Team Play the Dew) and the other team plays without the D, E, & W keys (Team Play No Few). Me & my teammate Francis may have lost from our game as Team UC but we still had fun & continued to enjoy & make content from their humble booth. What a blast it was for not only us but to everyone who was there. Do the Dew, Play the DEW!

Our JAM guest was Naomi Payton, a voice actress, singer, and performer who's a lovely, cheerful, & gorgeous woman who aspires to improve her acting skills to be an aspiring voice actor in the near future. An animal lover who aims to be a zoologist-related profession and has graced us with her presence. Giving inspiration and motivation to those who aspire to be voice actors and actresses as well in the future, she remains to be a beacon of hope and a center of peace for all who adore and or appreciate her.

Both days were jam-packed with the 2nd day being more than the 1st. With little to no room to roam just about anywhere, everyone doesn't mind since all of us are practically enjoying the event. Having tons of people to meet, having the time of their lives, immersing the characters they represent, and just being the best of who they are, now that's the true essence of cosplaying. Regardless if you're aiming for the absolute best comparison to them or you wanna just enjoy the character you're wearing, anyone and everyone should never be judged or compared to anyone. I personally firmly believe in that. So, for everyone who's feeling intimidated and or having low self-esteem, cheer up. Nobody's perfect but we can improve overtime. Believe in yourself and build your image, you don't need to compare to someone else who's better than you. You'll get there someday as well and we all started at the bottom. You will reap the fruitful seed you've grown from the very beginning once it's your time to shine.
