Inside CosMeet 2025: Okada Manila Hosts a Weekend of Cosplay and Celebration

The Halloween awaited cosplay event CosMeet 2025 comes back to Okada Manila for another exciting weekend filled with cosplay, treats and more things to offer. Held at the Crystal Pavilion on October 25- 26, 2025, the event gathered fans, artists, halloween-goers and cosplayers.

This year’s CosMeet was one of the most open and accessible yet.. Thanks to free entrance and free shuttle rides provided by Okada Manila, anyone could easily join in the fun. Shuttles from SM Mall of Asia and other pickup locations are listed on Okada’s website, making travel simple and convenient for visitors and attendees.

The Crystal Pavilion was full of color, music, and excitement. Cosplayers, photographers, and con-goers filled the halls, ready to enjoy the event, and candies. Booths offered a variety of different merchandise, art prints, and exclusive souvenirs, some found in booths or auctions, while the Cosplay All-Stars sold their own items in their booths and in auctions and the food stalls were full and busy, keeping everyone fueled for the upcoming activities ahead.
Across both days, the event stage featured games that attendees could join to win different items and merchandise, auctions which included the CosplayPH official mascot Karin Cosima life-size standee, cosplay shows and parades around Okada, and performances that entertained the crowd. Featuring Cosplay OTP;Heroes & Villains, a fun activity where cosplayers acted and interacted in character just like their favorite heroes or villains would. It showed off not just costume skills but real performance talent.

Another hit was the Side Quest Challenge, a CosplayPH activity. This time participants could receive ₱200 worth of Yakisoba cup noodles upon joining and earned extra snacks and merchandise after completing the task. It quickly became a fan favorite with the variety of snacks and freebies, giving everyone something to enjoy beyond ‘just’ the main stage.
Other programs included Duo Dash, Geo Hunter, Overpowered, and the always popular Cosplay Parade and the Open Mic. Special guest ING joined the fun, meeting fans and taking part in activities for the entirety of both days.

Okada Manila had also set up a booth where guests could register for an Okada Rewards Card, which includes ₱200 worth of activity credits. The card is renewed yearly and is non-transferable, giving attendees an extra reason to explore and enjoy more of Okada’s various activities. Not just the event’s.
Throughout the event, security and staff worked hard to keep everything organized and safe, Multiple guards around stores keeping cosplayers and attendees safe. Photographers captured memorable moments while ensuring smooth schedules for shoots on the sidelines in their associated locations.

In the end, CosMeet 2025 was a big success. It brought together people who share the same love for cosplay and creativity with free access, fun activities, and a welcoming community. From start to finish, CosMeet 2025 proved that cosplay is not just about dressing up - it’s about expressing yourself, meeting new friends, and celebrating the joy of imagination. All with a Twist of the Halloween Season.
